Non-Congregate Shelter Program

Survivors can register for access to safe, secure lodging and continued support through the Non-Congregate Shelter Program. 

For Survivors Currently in Anchorage

• Call 907-759-6927, Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Saturday 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.

for Survivors Located Outside Anchorage

Survivors located outside Anchorage should contact the Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation Travel Line for assistance traveling to Anchorage for placement in the Non-Congregate Shelter Program.

• Call 1- 833-543-6625 (option 1), 7 days a week, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Individuals will first travel to Bethel to complete registration before continuing on to Anchorage, where lodging will be provided. Upon arrival in Anchorage, the American Red Cross will meet survivors at the airport, provide transportation to Non-Congregate Shelter hotels or other locations as needed, and offer additional care and support services
